Rallied vs Rewst: a workflow platform you staff, or an AI agent that works your PSA
Rewst is a low-code automation platform you build workflows on, and it pays off when someone on your team owns it full time. Rallied is an AI agent that reads each ticket in your PSA and does the work itself, so it fits MSPs who want routine tickets closed without hiring the person who runs the tool.

Why MSPs look for a Rewst alternative
Rewst can automate almost any process in an MSP, and the MSPs we talk to say so. The reason they go looking for something else is the person the platform needs. Across our sales calls between February and May 2026, six MSPs described the same Rewst story: the tool works, but only once someone makes it their job.
- Every workflow is built by hand, one scenario at a time, so the automation only covers what someone has already mapped, built and tested.
- The builder becomes a full-time role. One owner told us the platform saves a tier one but costs two tier threes to keep running.
- When the builder leaves, the workflows stop being understood. Two MSPs abandoned Rewst after the person who owned it moved on.
- A request written in plain words has no workflow to match, so on the calls we heard about, the ticket sat until a technician read it.
- Tools without an API stayed out of reach for the MSPs we spoke to, which in practice meant a vendor portal or two still done by hand.
Everybody jumped off of it. You need to dedicate a person and turn them into a business analyst who understands your business from a super detailed, process-oriented angle. C-level management can't touch it.
25-year MSP veteran
I've been a firm no on Rewst because I know that you have to have a person whose job is Rewst, and I don't want to do that. It kind of seems to undo the whole point of automation, especially when you're smaller.

Rewst vs Rallied
| Rewst | Rallied | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Low-code workflow automation platform for MSPs. You draw the process and it runs it. | AI agent that reads each ticket in your PSA, does the work and writes up what it did. |
| How you set it up | Build workflows on a visual canvas, one per scenario. A RoboRewsty assistant and 100+ prebuilt Crates give you a head start, and the logic is still yours to design. | Connect your PSA, RMM and Microsoft 365, then say in plain English what it may do on its own. |
| Who runs it day to day | A dedicated builder. MSPs on our calls described it as a full-time role. | Nobody full time. Your service manager sets the guardrails and approves anything that needs a sign-off. |
| Time to first result | Months. One MSP spent over a year with two Rewst partners on a single onboarding workflow. | Most MSPs connect their PSA and go live in under a week, starting in Plan Mode so you can check its work first. |
| Plain-word tickets | Runs the workflow it is triggered by. MSPs on our calls said a request typed in the client's own words sat until a technician read it. | Reads the request, checks who is asking and works out what to do. |
| Tools without an API | MSPs told us the vendor portals with no API stayed manual. | A browser agent logs into the admin console and does the task, at 30 to 60 seconds an action. |
| Where approvals happen | Wherever you build them into the workflow. | On the ticket in your PSA, with per-action defaults you can tighten or loosen. |
| Reach | 80+ integrations across the MSP stack, including billing and security tools, with ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, Datto, NinjaOne and N-able among them. | ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA and SuperOps; Datto RMM, NinjaOne, N-central and ConnectWise Automate; Microsoft 365, IT Glue, Hudu and Confluence. |
| Pricing | Not published. Usage-based or per managed endpoint, no trial. Our research puts a small MSP at $500 to $2,000 a month, before the builder's salary. | $150 a month, billed monthly, 2,000 credits included. A ticket costs 1, 3 or 8 credits. |
The same ticket in Rallied
Rewst stops at a portal with no API. This is what a licence request looks like when Rallied takes it: the browser agent signs in to the vendor console and does the click-work, and a technician approves the licence before it is assigned.
Where Rewst wins
- Anything beyond the help desk
- Billing reconciliation, security alert handling, client onboarding sequences and vendor workflows. If you can diagram it and it has an API, Rewst can run it. Rallied works tickets and stays out of your billing.
- The integration library
- Rewst lists more than 80 integrations and ships 100+ prebuilt Crates, and its community trades workflows on top of that, so a well-staffed MSP can cover a lot of ground without starting from zero.
- Build once, run for every client
- Multi-tenant workflows deploy across all your clients at once, which is the right shape for a process you run identically everywhere.
- A funded, established vendor
- Rewst had raised $104 million by its August 2024 round and said in June 2026 that more than 1,500 MSPs use it. Rallied is younger and narrower on purpose.
Which one fits
Pick Rewst if
- You have, or will hire, someone whose job is building and maintaining automations.
- Your biggest time sinks are outside the help desk: billing, security response, complex client onboarding.
- You want granular control of every step in every process and can wait months for the payoff.
Pick Rallied if
- Your pain is the routine ticket queue: password resets, unlocks, mailbox access, onboarding and offboarding.
- Nobody on the team can take on a second job running an automation platform.
- You want tickets resolved inside the PSA you already run, with a technician's sign-off where you decide it matters.
What each one costs
Rewst
Not published
Quote-based, usage or per-endpoint, and no trial period. Our Rewst pricing post estimates $500 to $2,000 a month for a small to mid-size MSP, and the builder's time on top.
Rallied
$150 a month
Billed monthly, with 2,000 credits included. Each ticket costs 1, 3 or 8 credits depending on how much work the agent did on it, so a typical month covers about 700 tickets. Tickets it couldn't finish are never charged.
Questions MSPs ask us about Rewst
Is Rallied a replacement for Rewst?
For help desk tickets, yes. Rallied reads the ticket, does the work and closes it without a workflow behind it. For the operations Rewst is good at, such as billing reconciliation and security alert handling, Rallied is not a replacement, and some MSPs run both.
Do I need a developer or a full-time admin to run Rallied?
No. Rallied connects to your PSA, RMM and Microsoft 365, and you set what it may do on its own in plain English. Anything that needs a sign-off waits for a technician on the ticket. Most MSPs are live in under a week.
What does Rewst cost compared with Rallied?
Rewst does not publish pricing. Our Rewst pricing post puts a small MSP at $500 to $2,000 a month, before the person who runs it. Rallied is $150 a month, billed monthly, with 2,000 credits included, which covers about 700 tickets in a typical month.
Can Rallied handle tickets that Rewst cannot?
Two kinds. A request written in plain words with no matching workflow, which Rallied reads and acts on, and a tool with no API, such as a vendor admin console, which Rallied works through its browser agent instead of stopping.
